I specialize in critical and cultural studies of digital communities and media practices at the crossroads of technology, society and identity, particularly within fandom, gender and sexuality.
My research examines how fans participate, socialize, and nurture intimacies in algorithmically governed media environments, with a strong emphasis on feminist and queer perspectives. I am currently researching algorithmic intimacies in AI-mediated fan practices through computational and qualitative approaches.
Alongside my research, I am also an avid programmer and creative practitioner committed to designing accessible and interactive interfaces of scholarly communication.
This is a directory of my learnings and experiments.
Academic theses, conference presentations, and research articles exploring the intersections of digital cultures, fan culture, and emerging AI relationships.
Designed and developed responsive, interactive web experiences using modern front-end technologies for academic and creative projects.
Computational approaches to examine audience reception, fan practices, and gendered representations in digital and cultural texts.
Experiential projects in interactive, visual, and intermedial storytelling.
